Definition of Introspection from the 1828 Webster's Dictionary -
"I was formed to make an introspection into my own Mind"
Introspection is the examination of one's own conscious thoughts and feelings. In psychology, the process of introspection relies on the observation of one's mental state, while in a spiritual context it may refer to the examination of one's Soul.
As we tend to everything in our Life so much and rarely give ourselves the opportunity to sit in our own silence and contemplate Life and all things in it.
We rarely, stop, sit, and give ourselves permission to be silent,
Something interesting begins to happen in the silence when we give ourselves the opportunity to do this on a regular basis.
Life's struggles begin to fade away effortlessly.
Not by disappearing from our responsibility to get things done, rather we begin to find & see what is truly important to us and where we place our energy becomes more fundamental to us than always saying yes to everyone and everything going on around us.
